Masjid Darus Salaam has an outreach program at Soledad Prison to support Muslim inmates. Muslims comprise 10 percent of the total inmate population throughout prisons in America and 80 percent of religious conversions among inmates are towards Islam. Unfortunately, Muslim inmates throughout prisons in America have very little resources to correct Islamic knowledge. Darus Salaam has partnered with Chaplain Zabi Majidzadah and the Soledad Prison to assist in supporting Muslim inmates.
